ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Aspiring students into our institution sit the Entrance Examination which comprises Mathematics and English Language. If successful, the Candidates are invited for Oral Interviews and Aptitude Tests. Admission is granted to Candidates who are successful after sitting the Entrance Examination and taking part in the Oral Interviews and Aptitude Tests.
Candidates admitted into JSS 1 Class (7th Grade) in the school, must be 10 years old by August of the Year of Admission.
We admit candidates from all nationalities, tribes and creeds. Though a faith-based school of the Catholic Church, all non-Catholic or non-Christian students in our school are not forced to change their religion or denomination. Any change in creed by any student to Catholicism must be with the full consent of the parents.

AGE CONSIDERATION
In LGHS, a new intake into JSS 1 must have turned ten (10) by August of the year of entry into the school. A student in the boarding house must be mature enough to take good care of herself, carry out the normal daily routine, and still be able to face her studies squarely. Also, this age limitation is to ensure that the girls are at least 16 years old when leaving the school. We hope parents would understand this stance of the school and co-operate with us to produce mature ladies for the next phase of their lives.
