Liturgy

In Louisville Girls High School, Ijebu-Itele, apart from pursuing academic excellence, we also work to nurture both the faith and moral life of our students. The Liturgical Life of the school supports the students’ faith and prayer life. 

Apart from beginning and ending the day with prayer, the daily schedule of activities in the school is designed with the spiritual growth of the students in mind.

We begin each Term with an Opening Mass and end with a guided Spiritual Retreat for the students, thus, providing them with the opportunity to spend more time on spiritual reflection, prayer and meditation after the intense Academic work of the Term.

The Holy Mass is celebrated for the students every day except on Mondays and Saturdays. 

Students, who are Catholics, with the approval of their parents, have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and, Confirmation while in school after a period of Catechism.
